"Kunigunda Lunaria 2007" - great feast at Old Power Plant

The biggest alternative/industrial/darkwave festival in Baltic States "Kunigunda Lunaria" for the 6th time will take place in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, and once more will present a bunch of original artists from different parts of the world, special underground cultural events, and once again will become an unforgettable time for everyone, who is interested in alternative arts and who wants to feel that special extravagant carnival atmosphere this yearly festival is famous for.

During the three days from May 4th to May 6th the 16 original groups and projects will perform at the festival. The line-up includes SPIRITUAL FRONT (Italy), ROGER ROROR (Switzerland), THE LAST DAYS OF JESUS (Slovakia), DESDEMONA (Poland), GOTHIKA (Japan), FORGOTTEN SUNRISE (Estonia), STROPS (Latvia), DIFFUZION (Belarus), VIC ANSELMO (Latvia), ATAKA (Lithuania), SAPROPHYTES (Lithuania), and several promising new bands. The musical styles will differ from hard electronics to ebm, from suicide pop to dark industrial, from gothic rock to ambient and metal – the concept of the fest is to present the big spectrum of dark music, and the originality of artists is the main criteria.

During these three days and nights the old city will be filled with various interesting cultural events – exhibitions, weird film screenings, ghostly excursions to the secret places of Vilnius, absintheria fun and long after-parties with the international DJ squad. Also, one of the most intriguing parts of the event will be a special play at Vilnius Dolls theatre.

As always, the venue of the festival is of great importance, and this time the main "Kunigunda Lunaria" events will take place at a very special, unique place – the Old Vilnius Power Plant, which started its work in 1903, and until now preserves magical and monumental industrial atmosphere. The events in other parts of Vilnius will be held during the festival time as well, so it will be the best chance to explore this beautiful city.

The tickets for all three days cost 20 eur. The first 200 tickets come with a special limited edition CD sampler "Kunigunda Lunar Songs vol.6". You can reserve the tickets by contacting organisers of buy using internet system TIKETA (www.tiketa.lt).
The tickets for the first day cost 12 eur, for the second –14 eur, for the third – 8 eur.
